The Collection was founded in October 2009 by Caroline Takla, Managing Director. Prior to this, Caroline worked for two of London’s leading property companies – Chesterton Global and Hamptons International – where she had held senior positions and was consistently considered one of their top performers.
Throughout her career, Caroline would often be asked by clients, friends and family to source property on their behalf. Working as an agent, however, meant that this was usually not possible as she could only sell them what was on her register, rather than being able to tailor the requirements to suit their specific needs and source property from the whole market.
Consequently, in 2009, Caroline took the bold step of setting up The Collection. Since then, we have rapidly grown to become one of the UK’s top 25 buying consultancies. We have successfully completed over £400 million of property acquisitions on behalf of clients, and have represented high net worth clients from 35 different countries, including highly successful business leaders, global investors, actors, footballers and royalty. With over 50 years of property experience amongst our team, we have been able to expertly source the most desirable properties in London that never make it on to the open market, saving our clients valuable time and money.
In 2015, we expanded our portfolio of services to cater for all Prime Central London property requirements. Aside from acquisitions, our services now also include managed sales, rental search and much more.
